 Squam·i·pen n.; pl. Squamipennes   Zool. Any one of a group of fishes having the dorsal and anal fins partially covered with scales.
 Note:They are compressed and mostly, bright-colored tropical fishes, belonging to Chaetodon and allied genera.  Many of them are called coral fishes, and angel fishes.
