 Pre·des·ti·nate v. t. [imp. & p. p. Predestinated p. pr. & vb. n. Predestinating.]  To predetermine or foreordain; to appoint or ordain beforehand by an unchangeable purpose or decree; to preëlect.
    Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son.   --Rom. viii. 29.
