Bab-ed-Din

of
the
Faith
).
Babism
is
a
mixture
of
Muslim

Christian

Jewish
,
and
Parsi
elements
.
This
doctrine
forbids
concubinage
and
polygamy

and
frees
women
from
many
of
the
degradations
imposed
upon
them
among
the
orthodox
Muslims
.
Mendicancy

and
drugs

forbidden
