Sar·co·carp n. Bot. The fleshy part of a stone fruit, situated between the skin, or epicarp, and the stone, or endocarp, as in a peach. See Illust. of Endocarp.
Note: ☞ The term has also been used to denote any fruit which is fleshy throughout.
