is
an
annual
growing
wild
in
the
cornfields
of
Spain
and
Portugal
and
the
south
of
Europe
generally
.
There
is
also
a
species
of
dill
cultivated
in
Eastern
countries
known
by
the
name
of
shubit

which
the
Pharisees
were
in

habit

paying
tithes
