 A·wake v. t. [imp. Awoke Awaked p. p. Awaked; (Obs.) Awaken, Awoken; p. pr. & vb. n. Awaking. The form Awoke is sometimes used as a p. p.]
 1. To rouse from sleep; to wake; to awaken.
