 Reeve n. Zool. The female of the ruff.
 Reeve, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Rove p. pr. & vb. n. Reeving.]  Naut. To pass, as the end of a rope, through any hole in a block, thimble, cleat, ringbolt, cringle, or the like.
