 Ware·hous·ing n. The act of placing goods in a warehouse, or in a customhouse store.
 Warehousing system, an arrangement for lodging imported articles in the customhouse stores, without payment of duties until they are taken out for home consumption. If reexported, they are not charged with a duty.  See Bonded warehouse, under Bonded, a.

 Bonded goods, goods placed in a bonded warehouse; goods, for the duties on which bonds are given at the customhouse.
 Bonded warehouse, a warehouse in which goods on which the duties are unpaid are stored under bond and in the joint custody of the importer, or his agent, and the customs officers.
